Prashant Jain a.k.a PSY Sir | Life Journey From Trader To Educationalist.

Prashant Jain a.k.a PSY Sir is from Kota, Rajasthan. He did his schooling from Modi Public School, Kota and graduated B-Tech in computer science from IIT Powai.

Prashant Jain is an author, trader, analyst, teacher, educationalist, dancer and also a motivational speaker. He was a former Intern at BMC Software, former Trader at Optiver and also a former academic coordinator, PCCP (Pre-Foundation Career Care Program) Division at Resonance Eduventures. From 2018, he is also a Program Head of PCCP Division at Nucleus Education.

He has written a book “Climbing Up the Ladder”. The book is about strategy to crack JEE and Medical exams is out with tricks related to revision, tackling high syllabus, preparing for Olympiad, NTSE and Boards. Climbing Up the Ladder is also into journey of Prashant Jain from class IX to XII and how he achieved rank 42 in IIT JEE 2008 despite his average background till class X. The book is also related to thinking of preparing for JEE Advanced or any other objective exam in Kota, preparing for JEE Advanced or any other objective exam in Kota.

After reading the book, the students will get answers for How to break marathon preparation for JEE/NEET in simple checkpoints, How to make notes so that revision can be done effectively, How to prepare for other important examinations like NTSE and KVPY with JEE/NEET, and also How to manage Boards along with JEE/NEET.

Mr. Prashant Jain a.k.a PSY Sir is indeed a polymath who is an author, trader, analyst, IIT Bombay graduate, educationalist, teacher, motivational speaker and a mentor. He is an IIT Bombay graduate and was born in Kota, Rajasthan who with his never giving up attitude has reached heights. He is a man with hardwork, dedication and perseverance who never stops believing in himself. He is a Head of Program at Nucleus Education, Former Academic Coordinator at Resonance Eduventures and was a Former Trader at Optiver.

After securing All India Rank 42 in IIT-JEE 2008, he completed his graduation from IIT Bombay in Computer Science Branch in 2012 and since then has been mentoring students to secure good ranks in IIT-JEE (now JEE Advanced). He pens down his experience as a student and as a mentor to thousands of students to help competitive examination aspirants to perform well in objective examinations.

IIT alumnus Prashant Jain tops PTET to change school education system

An IIT-Mumbai alumnus Prashant Jain (28) left Rs 1 crore per annum job seven years ago to do something for the society. Presently, a coaching guru in Kota, he wants to revolutionize the school education system in the country.

And he has already taken his first step in this directions, Prashant Jain has topped the Rajasthan PTET 2019 to pursue the 4 year Integrated Bachleor of Arts and Bachelor of Education Course to become a teacher. He had secured all India rank (AIR) of 42 in the IIT-JEE of 2008 and completed B Tech from IIT Mumbai in 2012 in computer science. He then got a Rs 1 crore per annum job in finance company in Amsterdam. However inspired by the Anna Hajare movement of 2011 , Prashant left his job and returned India. He worked with an NGO in Delhi till 2014, where he taught poor slum kids. In 2015 , Jain moved to Kota his home town , and took up the job of coaching in an institute where he is working at present.

While teaching in Kota, he realized that there is need to change the education system and decided to do something “After completing BA/B Ed course in next 4 years , I would like to open my own school, through which I would like to contribute in school education which needs change in teaching methodology , says Prashant . “ I am inspired by the Japanese teaching model named Kumon which is a worksheet based learning system” he says. “ I am teaching students in coaching institute through Kumon system, whereby worksheets are completed by students in the classroom itself, along with lectures so as to make learning more interactive and effective adds.

He says he has Indianised the Kumon system which was based on English medium , Indian students face difficulty in learning through English medium, he says . “I want to teach school students in such a way that the teaching becomes fun for the students instead of stereotype exercise ” he adds.
